Emotional eaters — people who eat when they are lonely or blue — tend to lose the least amount of weight and have the hardest time keeping it off, U.S. researchers said on Thursday. They said the study may explain why so many people who lose weight gain it all back.

Bulimia effects are wide-ranging and many bulimia effects are quite different from the effects of other eating disorders. Bulimia nervosa usually gets it’s start when someone is told by another person or group of people that this is a very easy way to lose weight and control weight. Motivation is funny. For one thing, it always seems to leave right in the middle of a good weight-loss program. You were doing so well. Then one day, you lost your motivation and you just didn’t feel like working on it anymore. Soon you start noticing your tighter pants or shortness of breath, and you desperately want to get back to your diet.

People in their 20s and 30s face shorter lives because of poor diets, experts said. And today’s children could have even shorter life spans. Prof Jay Olshansky, of the International Research Centre for Healthy Ageing and Longevity, forecast that within 50 years the life span in Western countries could drop by up to five years.
