Oh, no, here he comes again! He’s a little early today. I knew I shouldn’t have skipped our usual breakfast meeting. Now he’s going to start with the constant grumbling. Yep, there he goes and he’s only getting louder. I wish I could just make him go away! But as the Greek writer Plutarch once said, “It is a hard matter to argue with the belly, since it has no ears.”
It’s time to stop fighting against your insatiable hunger and give it what it wants — FOOD! In fact, it’s better to give in to your belly’s yearning before it has to scream or grumble at you for attention. Trying to keep yourself from eating when you’re hungry is one of the biggest mistakes you can make. Depriving yourself of food will either lead to overeating later or train your body to take hold of every calorie you take in and store it as fat.
